Senior Business Analyst, Broker Copilot
The Sr. Business Analyst Aon Broker Copilot role is a project orientated position that requires an individual with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. The individual needs to advocate for the business team. They must understand sophisticated business issues and explain them to technologists or operations leads. The colleague needs to have an ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once and be flexible with changing responsibilities as prioritization shifts with the different stages of a project. Most importantly, the colleague needs to operate in a team environment with a positive demeanor towards accomplishing a common set of goals/objectives.

What the day will look like
- Develop a deep understanding of the Commercial Risk broking process – including the variability across different practice groups, product lines, and industry verticals
- Act as an advocate for the business users and collaborators across the firm to deliver on the Aon Broker Copilot mantra of “Built by Brokers for Brokers”
- Partner with the business on each phase of the Aon Broker Copilot implementation plan – Discovery, Development, and System Adoption
- Discovery
- Comprehend and articulate data and feature level requirements identified via discovery sessions with business leads and subject matter experts
- Document and discuss requirements with Aon Broker Copilot team – including the impact the requirements may have on the system workflow and user experience
- Work in a productive manner with the Aon Broker Copilot team and business leads to problem address requirements that do not have a readily available solution within the current state system
- Coordinate with design team on wireframe and prototype development and expected system functionality based on requirements captured in Discovery
- Engage the business leads to walk through design specifications and act upon feedback received to ensure the system design meets the business expectations and requirements
- Develop
- Partner with Development team to ensure design specifications and functionality requirements are built out according to the business expectations
- Act as primary business tester during business testing sessions
- Coordinate user acceptance testing with business partners including production of testing content for brokers/users to use when testing the system functionality
- Consolidate issues and feedback received during UAT /to be worked on by the engineering group
- System Adoption
- Drive the change management and adoption approach for the Aon Broker Copilot platform
- Develop system usage reports to be distributed to the business leadership team and Aon's executive leadership team
- Assist in preparing training resources and communications
- Lead training sessions and QA meetings dedicated to the Broker Copilot for users
- Supervise the Broker Copilot mailbox/teams chats and respond to questions and issues raised by brokers/users
- Consolidate and prioritize system feedback / issues into an action log for the product development group to review and resolve
- Partner with brokers and specialists across Aon to produce relevant business content needed in the development process (ex; Market listings, carrier contact libraries, Policy forms, LOB listings and descriptions, benchmarking fields and reports, etc.)
- Produce management ready materials for various commercial events (ex; P&C symposium, and RIMS) and internal leadership meetings
- Develop understanding of CRS strategy and functionality being delivered in other projects/workstream to ensure all strategic activities and their respective roadmaps align
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- A minimum of 5+ years of meaningful experience in the risk and insurance industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Tools.
- Proficient in sharing information in a clear and understandable way.
- A robust understanding of analytics and technology.
Education:
- A Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent amount of experience in the relevant field is required.

Pay Transparency Laws
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $95,000 to $115,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
