Risk Analyst

Aon is currently seeking a Risk Analyst to provide direct support to one of our clients. This is a virtual opportunity but the candidate must be located within the United States.

Responsibilities:

Contract Review - Review contracts both domestic and international

  • Provide pending contracts list weekly to the Director of Risk Management
  • Provide daily and weekly update on activities
  • Contract review with copies saved in shared folder
  • Available to participate on calls with MSI contract legal and client to negotiate terms of insurance prior to contract execution
  • Ensure terms are negotiated and agreed to by all parties in timely manner for contracts to be executed and sales receives credit via internal processing to meet their monthly, quarterly and annual sales estimates.

Certificates of Insurance - Ensure renewal listing is provided to Aon Client Services (ACS) Account Specialist by June 1st to ensure renewal COIs are issued and sent to all certificate holders prior to 7/1 renewal date.

  • Respond to all COIs within a 24-hour period
  • Provide weekly update on all COI issues
  • Save endorsement and COI client specific documents in shared folder
  • Ensure timeliness of completion as sales revenue depends on the acceptance of COI by client.

Contracts Domestic and International - Ensure renewal listing is provided to Aon ACS Account Specialist by June 1st to ensure renewal COIs are issued and sent to certificate holders prior to 7/1 renewal date.

  • Review renewal listing and make updates as necessary
  • Send listing to ACS Account Specialist
  • Follow up and obtain all renewal COIs prior to 7/1

Builders risk/OCIP/Warehouse Legal Liability/RR Protective Liability Policies - Review and purchase project specific policies or add to Reporter form policy for small projects

  • Obtain underwriting data and provide to broker/insurer
  • Provide quote and obtain authorization to bind from client project team
  • Obtain binder/policy/COI
  • Add to calendar for expiration dates and if any extensions
Qualifications:Education
  • College degree, preferably with area of study in Business, Finance, or Risk Management
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • CRM, ARM or CPCU designation
Prior Experience
  • Minimum five years in risk management field
  • Managerial experience
  • Safety, loss prevention, and claims training desirable
Special Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Leadership abilities
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Computer skills in Windows environment, working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, Lotus Notes software, on-line data base systems

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 to $70,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of West Palm Beach, FL. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
