This is a hybrid role based out of our Phoenix, AZ office.

What the day will look likeThe Account Specialist I will assist Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, running key processes that serve clients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes. Account Specialists will also assist Brokers on commercial risk business.

- Works as part of a client service team, in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Works with Account Executives and brokers to address client requests and needs throughout the year in a timely and professional manner.
- Responsible for day-to-day servicing of complex portfolio of clients, ranging in size and industry.Proactively coordinates renewal cycle to ensure all vital steps are completed in a timely fashion including coordinating Strategy Discussions, gathering client information, managing client requests and deadlines across the team, creating proposal documents, and owning the post-renewal deliverables.
- Actively supports and monitors the renewal process.
- Where applicable, serves as the primary interface with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively.
- Primary collaborator with Aon accounting team on client invoicing and collections.
- Manages client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests.
- Receives and runs routine and sophisticated coverage inquiries and endorsement requests. Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, WC posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
- Understands best practices and leverages available resources, including centers of excellence (COEs) and ACS.
- Becomes conversant with insurance policy terms and conditions specific to the lines of insurance being serviced.
- Some commercial insurance experience is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain P&C license within 120 days.
- Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required.
- Evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools.

Pay Transparency LawsThe salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
