Compensation Data

Total Cash Compensation (TCC) range for this position is from $114,500-171,800* per year based on experience and qualifications. *The low end of the TCC range includes base pay of $80,100 and performance-based incentives of $34,400 at 100% of sales targets. The high end of the TCC reflects base pay of $120,200 annual and performance-based incentives of $51,600 at 100% of sales targets. Incentive payments are not guaranteed and are governed by the terms of the applicablesales bonus planwhich is subject to change at Allstates discretion.

Job Summary:

The Sales Market Leader is a field opportunity supporting growth agencies and is responsible for owning the market to which they are assigned. They will work towards achieving Allstate business objectives. This role will be responsible of ensuring strategic, long-term profitable growth and increased market share.

The market for this opportunity is the state Louisiana and the selected incumbent will need to reside in the state to support the Agents.

Key Responsibilities:

Creates a short term (1 year) and long term (3 year) strategic market business plans, and drives market performance to those plans, as requested

Collaborates with Exclusive Agents (EAs) and Exclusive Financial Specialists (EFSs) to assist with creation of agency-specific short term (1 year) and long term (3 year) strategic business plans, periodically reviews and suggests adjustments as necessary to achieve results

Acts as a Strategic Business Advisor to EAs and EFSs in order to achieve short and long-term business objectives

Acts as an ambassador for Allstate with the agencies, and take ownership of Allstate messages

Communicates Allstate messaging on all relevant topics, including business objectives, sales promotions and incentives, compensation and bonus structure, and Allstate news

Customizes messaging for the specific agency, assesses the implications, and suggests necessary actions

Coordinates with sales leadership to ensure successful and timely installation of needed processes as requested

Provides day-to-day securities supervision of registered representatives (EAs) to ensure that they meet SEC, NASD, and all other broker/dealer requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has supervisory duties.

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of sales leadership preferred
  • Property & Casualty/Financial Services experience preferred
  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • Proven record for obtaining business results through the development of effective internal relationships within an organization preferred
  • Strong business knowledge & the ability to develop effective internal relationships across business functions preferred
  • Ability to assess market conditions, trends & indicators required
  • Understand pricing, claims, local market planning, sales trend analysis, marketing data, & financial analysis required
  • Knowledge of Allstate policies & procedures preferred
  • Licenses to obtain: P&C, Life/Health, & Series 6, 63, or 26 (within 90-day timeframe)
  • Designated Supervisory Principal experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel for business needs required

In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation offered for this role is$83,000.00-$114,200.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
