Inside Sales Representative – Commercial Insurance
The Inside Sales Representative will function as a dual-faceted professional, blending the responsibilities of Inside Sales Representative with those of a sales support/operations representative. You will be part of the Real Estate programs team focused on Builders Risk, Vacant Building and Commercial Package for apartments and condo associations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and identify potential insurance agents/brokers throughout the USA, focusing primarily on independent agents/brokers.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, ensuring their registration and providing them with necessary support.
- Conduct both cold and warm outreach to brokers, introducing them to Sales Executives as appropriate.
- Serve as the primary back-end support to our Sales Executives in NJ & San Francisco, managing broker inquiries and determining their requirements.
- Triage broker inquiries on submissions, determining if they need Underwriter attention or can be resolved immediately.
- Streamline and optimize the service work currently undertaken by Sales Executives.
- Educate brokers about our underwriting preferences and capabilities.
- Engage with brokers through various channels, including phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Provide market insights, manage competitor information, and relay feedback from brokers to internal teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams for cross-selling opportunities and further business development.
PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years in the insurance industry, with experience promoting P&C products.
- P&C insurance license required (4 months preparation time permitted).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial real estate insurance (e.g., Multi-Family, Apartment, etc.).
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Personable and persuasive with a strong service orientation.
- Analytical, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Project-based experience and skills are a plus.
LOCATION
- This is a remote position.

- $70,000 base salary plus bonus. Salary commensurate with knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
