EMPLOYEES ON OUR TEAM ENJOY:

  • A starting salary of $47,250-60,000 annually (based on experience and credentials).
  • Company paid training and professional state licensure.

POSITION HOURS


  • 4-day work week (1 day in office and 3 days at home)
  • During the week: 8:00am - 7:00pm; Saturdays: 9:00am - 4:45pm
    • 3 Days off (Sundays always off; Weekday Options: Tue, Wed, or Thur off)
    • INCLUDES A 5% SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL FOR WORKING SATURDAYS

  • Deliver a superior customer experience while consulting and counseling customers on NJM's Personal Lines products in a contact center environment.
  • Provide coverage options best suited to accommodate individual needs.
  • Generate new business growth through cross-selling and upselling.
  • Follow up on leads through outbound phone calls as defined by the sales process.
  • Demonstrate effective time management to achieve performance goals/targets.

  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, innovation, and creativity skills.
  • Initiating and relationship-building skills.
  • Influencing, persuading, and negotiating skills.
  • Communication (verbal, listening and written) skills.
  • Multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer and navigation skills including proficiency in Outlook.
  • Prior sales and/or contact center experience is beneficial.
  • High speed Internet and a working home phone line.
  • Quiet, distraction-free work area at home.
  • High School Diploma or GE.
  • Bilingual skills are valued.
