Lighthouse, an Alera Group Company is currenlty seeking a Sales, Individual Benefits Producer.The Producer will be responsible for growing top line revenue in their book of business while supporting the growth of strategic carrier partnerships in Lighthouse Group. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships, this role will work closely with other Producers on the Production Team to drive revenue growth for the organization. Additional responsibilities include account retention, up-selling, and account rounding. This position requires professional attentive interaction with Lighthouse Group carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and colleagues.

Key responsibilities
- Create insurance proposals tailored to fit a client's unique needs by appropriately determining carrier and plan options
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously – calendar appointments, task-lists, and emails
- Meet, or exceed, annual sales goals as established with Director of Strategic Partnerships and Vice President of Sales
- Actively engage in mentor/mentee relationship with Senior Producers to ensure team goals are achieved
- Properly on-board clients by providing a thorough introduction to policy service resources as well as the Account Management team
- Drive inclusive, accountable, motivating sales culture through individual actions and goal achievement
- Support servicing of Individual Benefits clients during Annual Enrollment Period and as needed
- Actively participate in sales meetings to promote team-selling and knowledge sharing
- Effectively communicate the capabilities of Lighthouse Group to prospects and clients to promote cross-selling
- Understand and support the execution of Lighthouse Group initiatives, policies, and programs. Work in good faith toward the achievement of organizational objectives and goals
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships through social engagement
- Build and maintain positive relationships within Lighthouse Group. Value opinions of all team members. Be willing and able to work for, and with, others to achieve a common goal. Treat other team members with respect
- Follow proper procedures for insurance standards. Protect and honor confidential information. Maintain highest ethical standards
- Actively support local community
- Perform other duties and projects as required
Qualifications
- Three to five years of Supplemental Medicare service or sales experience
- Promotes and lives Lighthouse Group values
- Ability to use both verbal and written communication skills effectively in both group and one-on-one sessions Utilize multiple methods to delivery to ensure communication is understood (e-mail, PowerPoints, graphs). Alter styles appropriately according to group needs
- Possess the knowledge and technical skills required to perform job responsibilities. Keep up-to-date on industry developments and practices. Work closely with carriers and utilize them as knowledge resources
- Skill and ability to use and operate a computer and copier. Skill and ability to read and understand online company manuals and insurance claims
- Obtain and maintain Michigan Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Complete annual CMS and Individual marketplace certifications and applicable carrier certifications
