Job Summary:

Working within Axis Group Benefits, a subsidiary of AXIS Capital, the Sales Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales, Underwriting, and AGB Leadership. In addition, the Sales Assistant will provide efficient, professional, and courteous service to clients, and colleagues.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain a strong working knowledge of the insurance products and services offered by AXIS Group Benefits as well as the market segments targeted by the business.

• Review new group and renewal group set-up document completeness, and accuracy, prior to submission to internal and external business partners.

• Complete required steps to set up new cases and renewals with our third party vendors including insurance and service providers, our enrollment and premium administrators, as well as claim TPAs.

• Collaborate with Sales Directors, Underwriting, and Account Service Manager to meet new and renewal group financial goals and customer expectations.

• Distribute policy forms and administrative agreements to brokers or clients.

• Assists with incoming calls and emails.

• Consistently delivers high-quality work within the established time frames.

• Assist the Sales Support Team on an as-needed basis.

• Distribute customer reporting data, and other communication tools to customers and producers.

• Assist with other projects and initiatives as they are assigned.

Qualifications:

College degree or equivalent work experience

2+ years' experience in a service environment; prior insurance experience is a plus

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $45k-$60k (AZ). The specific salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including the experience of the successful candidate and their work location.
