If you are a seasoned and transformational Sales Executive, join our team as the VP of Sales and Account Management. This role is pivotal, in order to help lead Symbeo's strategic growth and operational excellence as aligned with our corporate strategy and market opportunities. The VP of Sales is a trusted advisor for customer and prospect engagement, as well as a recognized thought leader for the C Suite within SaaS and across industry verticals. This inspirational sales leader will grow top-line revenues, while driving new business through the implementation of scalable, repeatable, and structured processes. Additionally, the VP of Sales closely collaborates with third parties, Marketing, Product Teams, and other internal and external stakeholders to drive brand awareness, product positioning, and new product development.
This position is fully remote with up to 50% travel across the US.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a customer acquisition strategy to generate top-line revenue growth
- Plan and execute an Account Management strategy to drive customer retention and cross-sell opportunities, in order to realize increased customer value and greater account penetration
- Inspire and coach the Sales Team to clearly articulate customer needs, define the value proposition, determine ROI, and drive engagement throughout the sales cycle
- Contribute to a high-performance culture with coaching, talent development, stretch goals, and an engaged team
- Act as an informed leader with the Voice-of-the-Customer (VoC) both strategically and operationally; identify and advocate for value added product and service offerings
- Actively promote Symbeo to the public at trade shows, on social media channels, and other media outlets, which may include content generation, speaking engagements, etc.
- Establish and nurture key customer relationships with senior level stakeholders including decision makers, influencers, and industry partners
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field; Master's degree in a business-related field is preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years proven senior technology sales leadership experience with YoY growth
- Executive presence with strong business and financial acumen that translates well to senior level discussions, which includes working knowledge of Accounting principles or AP Automation
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and customer obsession to develop long-term strategic partnerships
- Strong listening, creative, and strategic thinking capabilities, in order to provide solutions to trusted and prospective customers
- Authoritative expert and industry influencer that is a trusted advisor both internally and externally
- Inspirational leader that can manage, motivate, and develop the Sales Team to achieve excellent results and lead with market differentiation
PAY RANGE:
CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
Pay Range: $77,760 – $129,456
