Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

1What Is the Opportunity?
Under moderate supervision, the Marketing Operations Senior Consultant will work within an Agile team to lead efforts to manage and improve the accuracy and operational efficiency of marketing and analytics platforms for a broad spectrum of organizational marketing objectives. This position will be responsible for developing subject matter expertise across multiple marketing and analytics platforms, innovating and documenting processes, and performing responsibilities related to the services provided by the Marketing Operations Team. This position does not manage others.What Will You Do?
Participate as an Agile team member by attending Agile ceremonies that establish norms and assist with planning and tracking our work using a Kanban board.
Manage marketing and analytics platforms (Google and Tealium's tech stack, and other internal/vendor systems) by establishing the most efficient processes and best practices for campaign setup, quality assurance, and defect resolution.
Assist with the vetting, selection, and integration of new marketing and analytics platforms.
Cross-train with team members on daily responsibilities to develop proficiency and support high demand services.
Define and gather requirements from business partners to define the scope of marketing campaigns prior to launch.
Utilize marketing metadata models and create strategies to evolve how metadata is used to support the measurement of marketing campaigns.
Help define and run validation control checks on platform configurations prior to campaign launches and assist with defect resolution post-launch.
Assist in developing and communicating best practices and marketing operations standards to business partners
Partner with Marketing data and analytics teams to ensure campaign configurations are validated and measurable.
Work with team members and other Travelers resources to develop process and data governance best practices.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
Bachelor's degree in marketing, data management or other related field or equivalent experience preferred.
Typically 4+ years of experience.
Working Knowledge of Marketing and Analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager, Tealium IQ, Tealium EventStream, Tealium AudienceStream, Invoca, ObservePoint or similar technologies.
Preferred experience as an account or marketing platforms manager for a strong brand or agency.
Exposure to insurance concepts desirable.
Demonstrates Intermediate skill/competency level (solid knowledge and ability; can apply the competency with minimal or no guidance, in the full range of typical situations) for:
o Data management and validation skills using tools like Excel and SQL
o interpersonal skills including listening, accountability, decision making and problem solving
o Analytical, verbal and written communication skills
o Time and project management skills
o Understanding of marketing technology landscape
o Knowledge of the principles of data collection, relational databases, as well as data management and data lineage preferred
o Ability to manage competing demands and escalate and communicate appropriately
o Ability to build and maintain credibility with others
What is a Must Have?
Minimum of 3 years of experience.
