About the Position
The Glatfelter Agency (TGA) is looking for an Assistant Account Manager to join our growing team in the downtown York office. Our new team member:
- Provides administrative support to the Commercial Lines Department by assisting with client communications and policy management.
- Sets up prospects and new clients in Agency Management System
- Assists with rating of new and renewal business through various carrier websites
- Processes Certificates of Insurance and Auto ID requests and assists with endorsement requests.
- Provide assistance with renewal processing
- Prepare binders for client meetings
- Provides backup for administrative functions such as phone reception, scanning and mail where needed
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of one year of Insurance or equivalent office experience.
- Valid PA Property & Casualty license or must attain within three (3) months.
- Experience answering phones in an office setting
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and prioritize assigned tasks
