Lead Generation Specialist - Remote
ALPS Insurance is looking for individuals to make unsolicited phone calls (cold calls) to potential clients. This is a call to introduce us to the potential client. We are not asking for you to sell in these calls. Our request is for information to assist our Sales team in being able to reach out at an appropriate time to better use our potential client's time.
We are looking for Lead Generation Specialist that don't take responses personally (you will get some rude people), have a willingness to talk to people in a friendly manner on the phone, have a personal drive to meet goals and continually improve your skills. You will be asked to make over 60 calls a day. We have calling hours and then provide a break and then return to another calling hour. While we have great team communication and motivation, you must be self-motivated as we are not going to watch over you. We have goals that we want to meet, and we all must do our part to meet those goals.
We offer initial paid training of at least 15 hours, and we provide continual training to improve outcomes throughout your time with us. We encourage employees to share tips they have learned with the team. We have once a week team meetings and daily check-ins.
We are looking for individuals to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am to 2:00 pm. We are hoping for at least 2 - 3 consecutive hours during these days/times. We are hoping individuals could do a total of between 15-25 hours a week. This position could be done remotely. We are currently offering $15.50-$16/hour plus commission.
Remote Candidates must have their own computer equipment and headset to be able to perform this work. Local candidates interested in-office we will provide equipment. We are an Employer of Choice in Missoula, MT and have been recognized as a Top Workplace.

Preference will be given to candidates in States where we are already eligible to hire within including, MT, WA, ID, VA, GA, FL, TX and CO.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Make outbound phone calls to prospective clients using lists provided by ALPS marketing.
- Manage data for prospective clients in database, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and complete.
- Maintain an understanding of Netsuite and the integrity of the database.
- Works with the team to create a cohesive environment. Contributes to the daily workflow with regular and punctual attendance.
- Performs other duties/responsibilities and attends meetings as necessary and assigned.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED or combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience: Proven telephone experience, preferably call center or outbound sales in a professional sales setting.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent organizational and presentation skills; self-motivated, flexible and resourceful, and ability to work independently. A high degree of computer proficiency, adapting quickly to improving technology and willing to learn. Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully implement sales and marketing strategy.
Other Qualifications: Highly professional and self-confident. Uses experience and good judgment; an independent thinker; solution oriented and takes ownership and responsibility of his/her actions. Demonstrates leadership capacity and results oriented to exceed goals and expectations. Requires continuing education courses and professional licensure.
