Job Summary:

The VP GA Relationships role manages AHB relationships for Voluntary Benefits and Group Health producers. Responsible for leading a team that develops GA specific strategies to drive growth and retention for key partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define Strategy for growth and retention with key GA partners
  • Develop process to measure success of strategy and report out progress monthly
  • Responsible for relationship development with key partners leadership
  • Develop HO relationships to create favorable working relationships at national and local levels for GAs
  • Educate sales team on best practices and GA partner initiatives
  • Achieve growth target for GA partners across AHB suite of products

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience 10 20 years in Sales focused on General Agencies and 10 15 years in Leadership

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Life and Health insurance licenses

Functional Skills

  • Sales experience in Voluntary Benefits with established GA relationships Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced knowledge of GA marketplace
  • Experience effectively communicating/motivating sales teams
  • Effective partner with internal teams able to influence without authority
  • Demonstrated experience in strategy development
  • Experience building business cases and funding request

Notes

Base salary range for this position is from $112,900- $150,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
