Note: This is a Boston based opportunity with a flexible hybrid schedule that will require occasional on-site attendance. In addition, this role includes domestic travel and occasional international travel to manage events and projects.

 

Summary:

 

Produces live and virtual events and meeting technology related projects for both our internal and external facing audiences. Works regularly with senior managers and SBU stakeholders managing projects to successful conclusion including, design, production budgets, research, and contract negotiations. Production responsibilities include managing various outside vendors, production houses, and freelance crews to manage production timelines, quality issues and budgets while delivering executional excellence. Management of event related photography, video library, and digital media asset storage.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Works with clients to determine objectives and needs.
  • Advises clients on the feasibility and cost effectiveness of projects.
  • Coordinates the planning and execution of all media support. This includes planning, preparation, design, development, production of content and presentation materials.
  • Provides media support including presentation operation and editing to home office executive meeting areas and on site at events.
  • Provides photography support for meetings and events and executive portraits by sourcing and managing freelance photographers. Manages photography assets and other related digital assets for long term storage.
  • Produces in house video productions for internal and external audiences both live and through virtual platforms.
  • Often functions in a supervisory/team leader role for support team to assure project timelines and brand quality guidelines are adhered to. Lead and direct production crews and talent to achieve performances consistent with program objectives.
  • Includes domestic travel and occasional international travel to manage events and projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience plus 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of live and virtual event media and meeting support production, staging and its related disciplines.
  • Advanced knowledge of video production, direction, and storytelling skills.
  • Proven ability to lead projects.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills needed to determine and interpret customer and department needs, with the ability to comfortably communicate ideas and explain technical considerations to clients and executives of varying levels of expertise and backgrounds.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
