Position Title: Commercial Insurance Agent – Book Vesting Opportunities - Fully Remote
Position Summary: Building relationships to create opportunities to offer and close insurance proposals for small to mid-sized businesses.
Must be P&C licensed in California.
Persuasive and well spoken.
Excellent digital communication.
18+ months of commercial insurance sales experience.
Quick learning via webinar and book, at a college level.
Excellent relationship builder.
Professional demeanor and charismatic.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Generate new leads via cold calling, networking, associations, canvassing.
Analyze businesses' exposures and policies.
Work with underwriters and account managers to generate quotes and proposals.
Create and present proposals.
Nourish relationships and seek referrals.
Help train and mentor cold calling team.
Track and report on your pipeline.
College level insurance CE courses (CIC, CRM).
Meet specific sales goals, pipeline goals, and activity goals.

Weekly Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm PST
Location: Fully Remote, does require occasional travel to meet with clients, attend association meetings, and local business community events. Candidate MUST be in California.
Pay Range: Salary Commensurate with Experience.
