Sales Manager - Medicare & Individual Health
About the Role
A Des Moines area insurance agency seeks a Sales Manager- Medicare and Individual Health to grow and lead its senior insurance products and individual Life & Health businesses. You are responsible for overseeing the performance of agents and service staff, developing sales strategies, and managing daily operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, mentor, and develop new and existing agents to meet individual and team sales goals
- Capitalize on lead generation sources and help ensure manageable workflows during peak enrollment seasons
- Serve as a subject matter resource on Medicare and Individual Life & Health products and programs
- Nurture relationships with partner insurance carriers and coordinate all contract/certification requirements
Skills & Experience
At least five (5) years of insurance experience in the senior insurance (Medicare/medical supplement) programs or individual life and health insurance industries. Must include work in the sales process. Prior sales supervisory/management experience is preferred.

Base salary + variable incentive/bonus compensation package
