The Remote - IT Integration Specialist has the primary responsibility of assuming lead roles as part of our Integrations project team, onboarding newly acquired firms, evaluating, planning, and support of the migration of on-premises Exchange and Cloud Email services, and installing new hardware and software, as well as traveling to regional offices as needed. In this role, successful candidates need to be organized, energetic, have a strong customer service personality, be well versed, and experienced in Windows/O365 environments including basic networking concepts. Prior experience with large-scale, complex IT projects and implementations is a must. Ideal candidates will have Office 365 migration experience. Candidate must be able to work well in a cohesive team and have the drive to grow in knowledge and responsibility.

  • Position requires O365 mailbox migration experience, scheduling migration batches, and process management.
  • Lead or assist with onboarding of new company acquisitions and employees.
  • Discovery and documentation of all pertinent site/end-user identification information.
  • Work closely with network and systems administrators on advanced projects.
  • Evaluate new technology and provide feedback.
  • Available on call to respond to emergencies when needed.
  • Travel to multiple offices in the local area and to the regional office during implementation, or as needed.

  • 4+ years' experience as a Desktop Support/Help Desk/Service Desk/Network technician.
  • Office365 admin/migration experience, experience with PowerShell scripting, demonstrated lead or high-profile role in projects.
  • Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, VPN, and other related network technologies & equipment.
  • Logical thinking and demonstrated exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent organization, documentation, and planning skills demonstrate the ability to effectively organize and manage multiple streams of work at a detailed level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills providing clear, detailed documentation.
  • Adapts to change and new processes in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with enthusiasm.
  • Able to work independently and see projects or issues through to completion.
  • Reliable means of transportation for travel and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Must be comfortable dealing with all kinds of people in a team environment and have a desire to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with ShareGate, Quest, Migration Wiz, PowerShell, and Microsoft migration tools.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware Horizon.
  • Direct hands-on experience with voice migrations and Mitel a big plus.
