Senior Accountant

Alera Group, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Finance team. The position has significant growth potential and reports to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting.

• Participate in acquisition accounting and integration.
• Perform working capital calculations for acquired entities.
• Assist in the preparation of acquisition opening balance sheets.
• Prepare the annual earnout calculations in accordance with our agency purchase agreements.
• Manage concurrent work streams to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
• Work closely with other internal departments, including but not limited to accounts payable, treasury, financial reporting, legal, etc.
• Provide support and answer accounting-related questions from Alera subsidiary firms as needed.
• Assist external audit and tax teams by providing necessary data and support as requested.
• Perform special projects and other accounting duties as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA a plus.
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and proactive approach.
• Advanced excel skills.
