The North Carolina Association of County Commissioners is seeking candidates for the position of Property & Casualty Program Specialist.  The Association is one of the most successful and active statewide local government associations in the nation and was established in 1908 to provide service to our 100 County members in North Carolina.  Candidates must provide direct interface with county government officials & employees, serving as a risk management consultant and insurance resource liaison between the North Carolina Association of County Commissioner Risk Management Pools and its Members. 

A strong commercial property, casualty and workers compensation production background is required, and the position necessitates extensive travel throughout the State of North Carolina.  Related professional insurance designations and prior field experience are desired, with a required minimum of 10 years’ experience in the same or very similar commercial insurance background preferred.  This individual will need to be self-motivated and capable of managing a territory the size of North Carolina with minimal direct supervision from the Risk Management Director.
