Job Description:
Effectively manage general agent, carrier, and self-insured partner relationships to maintain existing relationships and derive new business opportunities. Highly responsive to requests and identifying issues/challenges . Serve as the critical link between the client and NARS. Thorough understanding of how to navigate and leverage internal resources to affect change and solve problems. Provide direction and training to the organization to achieve high customer satisfaction. Identify workflows, problems, and procedures to enhance the relationship and provide consistency of the corporate image and results. Provide support and assistance to the Client Relations team with a variety of assignments. Position involves clerical work and considerable independent judgment. Ability to multi-task and problem solve is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of client relationships including the resolution of service concerns, account renewals, and business expansion opportunities.
- Responsible for leading a successful new program implementation
- Ensure complete understanding and insight of customer’s needs, goals, and intentions.
- Work with clients and internal departments to identify areas of dissatisfaction and inconsistencies, developing and implementing plans to correct.
- Work with claims management to identify and advise clients of trends and/or issues that are impacting their program. Communicate specific goals and/or action items established with each program to ensure success.
- Onboarding and ongoing training for members of the Client Relations Dept. on procedures, implementations, and service offerings
- Participate in business presentations upon request
- Transmit reports to and from clients and work with the Data Support Unit to ensure accuracy before sending.
- Coordinate and attend various marketing events such as seminars, conferences, local and national trade shows. May require public speaking engagements.
- Communicate new service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to Business Development and Sales.
- Administrative duties as required by the position – e.g., documentation in CRM, updating Account Handling Instructions, processes, etc.
- Assist the Director of Client Relations with the management of their accounts.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Qualification Requirements:
Education / Licensing:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Business, Marketing or Management).
- Must have 5 years combined claims, account management and/or sales experience in another TPA or insurance-related organization
Technical Skills:
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work independently and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess excellent presentation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software, (Microsoft Office platform).
Abilities:
- Requires long periods of sitting and/or standing.
- Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
- Requires some lifting of boxes (marketing materials and displays) up to approximately 20 pounds.
- Repeated use of keyboard, mouse, and exposure to computer screens from either a desktop or laptop computer.
- Requires extensive travel including overnight as needed.
- Excellent ability to persuade and influence others.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Professional appearance required.
