Deliver a superior customer experience while consulting and counseling customers on NJM’s Personal Lines products in an inbound contact center environment.


  • Provide coverage options best suited to accommodate individual needs.
  • Generate new business growth through cross-selling and upselling.     
  • Follow up on leads through outbound phone calls as defined by the sales process.   
  • Demonstrate effective time management to achieve performance goals/targets.



  • Critical thinking, problem solving, innovation, and creativity skills.
  • Initiating and relationship-building skills.
  • Influencing, persuading, and negotiating skills.
  • Communication (verbal, listening and written) skills. 
  • Multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer and navigation skills including proficiency in Outlook
  • Prior sales and/or contact center experience is beneficial
  • High speed Internet and a working home phone line
  • Quiet, distraction-free work area at home
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Bilingual skills are valued





  • Monday-Saturday 9:30/9:45am-6:00pm (Sun/Wed, Sun/Thurs, Sun/Fri Off)



  • Monday-Friday Delayed 12:30/12:45pm-9:00pm with an additional 15% shift differential
