Personal Lines insurance Customer Service Representative – Fullerton, CA

What you will be doing:

Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager needed for a startup independent insurance agency located in Fullerton, CA. The personal lines customer service representative is an important role providing sales and support to our clients. This person will work with renewals, policy changes, new business, quoting, servicing, claims, problem resolution, etc. Insurance lines include Home, Auto, Renters, Umbrella, Personal Articles Floaters, RV’s, Boats, Rentals, investment properties, 2nd homes, etc. Experience with commercial insurance helpful, but not required.

Work Location: Fullerton, CA.  Working remotely will be considered after 6 months or immediately for an individual who has a lengthy commute to our office.

Your choice of working hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

                                                     8:30 am to 5:00 pm

                                                      9:00 am to 5:30 pm

                                                         

Pay: This is a W-2 exempt position. 

A higher salary and/or commission split will be considered for individuals with lengthy years of experience in an independent insurance agents office.

Requirements:

  • Minimum requirements are a MUST. A higher salary will be conserved for individuals with lengthy years of experience in an independent insurance agent’s office.
  • To be considered you MUST have an outgoing personality, professional dress/appearance, willingness to always help other (both agency staff & customers) and caring & positive attitude.
  • Our office has a no hate policy, we love everyone. You must be kind, courteous, respectful and considerate to our customers and co-workers. Being disrespectful will never be accepted.
  • Minimum of 3 or more years' working as a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) in a independent insurance agency.
  • Minimum of 3 years holding a Property & Casualty insurance agents license in California. Holding a Life & Health license in CA is a plus, but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years or more experience working directly with customers inside/outside of an independent insurance agent’s office. 
  • Minimum of 3 years or more experience working with Ezlynx agency rater (quoting system)
  • Experience working with Ezlynx agency management system is a plus.
  • You must be professional, kind, courteous, respectful, and considerate to customers and co-workers. Being disrespectful will never be accepted.
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
