The Sr Consultant II will be responsible for driving the delivery of robust partner on-boarding tools. The role will implement field distribution programs to support sales opportunities through technology partners in several areas including enrollment, benefits administration, private exchange, and third party administration. This role will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of existing partner systems to provide guidance for additional developments, modification, and integration opportunities.
This role will identify new and potential technology partners or services that will assist in driving new or existing customer growth opportunities. A key accountability will be to seamlessly transition the business processing for key partners into the broader operational data processing and business teams once the integration and development with a new partner has been completed. This work will include full system testing, EDI file set-up and testing, data analysis and QA reviews, implementation and enrollment processing workflows with supporting reference and training documentation.Key Responsibilities
Senior individual contributor who drives the partner level implementation for key technology distribution partner relationships; manages key enrollment technology distribution partner relationships.
Develop and implement plans that proactively enhance these partnerships, facilitate discussions around strategic alignment and remove barriers that do not support sales growth.
Facilitate strategy sessions designed to identify, develop and deploy capabilities that drive sales growth, persistency and operational effectiveness while moving the relationship from a partnership to an alliance.
Assess gaps in current partnership performance and determine systematic solutions to drive growth and achieve operational effectiveness.
Based on field distribution feedback and partner assessment, develop and implement scalable programs to help drive sales growth through technology channels.
Leveraging internal partners, develop and execute on training opportunities with technology partners focused on delivering the Allstate Benefits strategy, new products and services to enhance relationships at the national and local level.
Communicate product and detailed data specifications to platform vendors, supporting the integration and development initiatives.
Provide direction to and communication with EDI file developers on best practice integration with internal processing systems.
Perform full system and data testing with technology platforms.
Facilitate and advocate issue resolution with technology partners by establishing partnership with key leaders and assisting with the navigation of home office functional areas.
Establish processes to monitor partner performance in key sales, persistency and operating expense metrics and develop actions to ensure results are on track.
Drive critical and highly complex partner integration initiatives; driving the development and implementation of an effective, consistent, and repeatable partner development program.
The compensation range for this position is$64,700 to 102,000, based on qualifications and experience.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience
High school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent
3 to 5 years experience in case set up for enrollment of employee benefits
Knowledge and understanding of the voluntary benefit enrollment process, as well as predominant industry known platforms and supporting technology systems
Excellent communication skills required to communicate with customers and external partners; commensurate for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Internal/external facing skills related to presentation and webinars
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and hold peers accountable for delivering results; excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Complex problem solving and critical thinking skills ability to think outside of the box, using knowledge, logic and reasoning to identify appropriate solutions and approaches to challenges.
Highly analytical and technical orientation; advanced knowledge of enrollment platforms, systems and integration components; advanced skills in data testing, auditing, analysis, and reporting.
Bachelors in Business Management, Computer Science or business related field
Project management skills 3 to 5 years experience managing multiple projects; ability to manage concurrent and conflicting priorities
Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Excel in order to manage data in the enrollment process
