About the Role

Leading Healthcare Technology company is launching self-funded alternatives to traditional fully insured plans that can significantly reduce total annual healthcare expenses. Their capabilities to aggregate data from the sponsored plans allow them to better understand, manage and mitigate the risk. Products offered accommodate employers of all sizes and types including public entities. 

We seek a proven Self-Funded Health Plan Sales Professional to develop close relationships with producers/brokers/consultants and Account Managers and Underwriters.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify brokers that sell to small and medium sized self-insured businesses and truly understand self-funding and level funding
  • Provide education concerning products, policies and procedures
  • Create and deliver effective sales presentations to employer groups and brokers to increase awareness and promote sales
  • Position products, rates, and stop loss and expanded product portfolios to increase sales
  • Develop and execute sales and growth strategy for products
  • Identify brokers in AZ, NM and western Texas

Skills & Experience

  • 5-8 years background in healthcare sales or group insurance sales with proven track record of success
  • Existing relationships with brokers and consultants preferred
  • Experience with self-funded & TPA
  • Strong people skills with direct experience in successfully forging and managing strategic relationships
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret experience data and communicate solutions to customers
  • Self-starter and ability to operate independently
  • Demonstrated highly effective selling skills

Compensation

$100k to $125k base + commission with no cap, equity
