Transportation Broker - Insurance Sales

General Placement Service is actively recruiting for experienced Transportation Producers either from the wholesale or retail marketplace. Our client has a national footprint in trucking and various other transportation classes of business with multiple “A” or better carrier appointments to work with. This position will be responsible for building a book of transportation business through active marketing, efficient processing and strong closing skills. Our client will offer an attractive base salary for the first three years with a phase out of the base salary as the commissions begin to validate the candidates salary. They also pay bonuses and have a great benefits package. This client has a great track record of growing successful producers through training and patient management. 
 
To be qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years insurance experience including at least 2 years transportation insurance sales either from the wholesale or retail agency marketplace. A Bachelor’s Degree and pursuit of industry designations is highly preferred.
