About the Role

An emerging specialty Managing General Agency and Wholesale Broker, this insurance program administrator is rapidly growing and wants to be an insurance agent’s first choice for non-profit and human services commercial property and casualty placement. Business Development is critical to ongoing expansion by putting “boots on the ground” with the sole focus of generating qualified P&C quotes, submissions and written premium in the social service sector.

Locations: A 100% remote, work-at-home position, there are two open positions in the following regions:

  • Northeast/Tri-State area
  • West Coast/South Central

Essential Responsibilities of the Regional Sales and Business Development Manager

  • Promote brand awareness and increase written premium for commercial property policies
  • Build up the assigned territory market
  • Identify, assess and appoint of retail agents
  • Monitor key performance indicators (submissions, quote-to-bind ratio, portfolio mix and retention)
  • Educate agents on the company, underwriting products and services
  • Provide account management support

How to Know If Business Development and Marketing Is Right for You

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At minimum of five (5) years of commercial insurance property and casualty experience in underwriting, sales or marketing
  • You thrive in a goal-oriented environment; seek a work-at-home opportunity managing a multi-state territory
  • Existing insurance industry relationships in the assigned territory

Job Specs

  • $100k-$130k target comp range
