Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Telephone Account Manager to work closely with the Distribution team developing a panel of brokers primarily for E trade products, E Trade deals and Schemes. In this role you will take responsibility for developing pipeline through telephone based relationships primarily with Independent Brokers, Networks Brokers.

With offices in Redhill, London, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Birmingham, we're flexible on location for the right person.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with the Small Business Distribution team, Small Business Centre and other Distribution team members to develop and implement a robust plan for development for  e trade flow, deals and schemes
  • Work with cross functional teams and be responsible for the development and direction of own Broker panel with short and long term plans for the panel.
  • Generate opportunities outside of this core scope for other Travelers teams in line with their plans.
  • Ensures all decisions and processes are consistent with SME Distribution plan Develop growth opportunities through identifying cross sell and product penetration opportunities
  • Must operate with owners of independent brokers and executive members of independent brokers without supervision
  • Work with multiple stakeholders within Brokers from owners to placement staff

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience and operating independently in the following: Organisation, Financial Acumen, Communication, Collaboration, Presentation Skill, Networking, Negotiation Risk Selection and Critical and Analytical Thinking.
  • Experience and operating independently in the following. Change Management, Account Planning, Pipeline Development Making Decisions, Results Orientation, Influencing, and Innovation.
  • Experience of managing own panel of Independent Brokers operating with owners of brokers and senior members of staff.

Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge

  • Experience in Telephone Account Management for GI E trade products and schemes - notably independent broker sector
  • Insurance industry knowledge mainly of e trade and schemes
  • Experience of managing own panel of Independent Brokers operating with owners of brokers and senior members of staff.
  • A Level & preferably making progress to professional qualifications
