Seeking a motivated insurance professional to join the GPP sales team in the New England region. Will develop and promote the sale and use of all GPP products and services through independent agents to achieve business plan elements, premium growth, profitability and market penetration objectives. Will promote and maintain goodwill between GPP and key distributors in six New England states. Exercises technical expertise, analytical ability and sound business judgment while assisting in the effective analysis of state specific public entity market environments for the potential expansion of all GPP product lines.BS Degree or equivalent industry experience and a minimum of three (3) years commercial property and casualty sales, marketing or underwriting experience is desired. Familiarity with all aspects of public entity (including misc. entities, special districts, public and private schools) is desired. Experience in the design, development, and implementation of business and sales plans and the ability to analyze the effectiveness of all existing plans are required. Must have and maintain or attain, within three (3) months, current property & casualty licenses for appropriate states. Successful completion of at least two parts of CPCU, three parts CIC, or its equivalent is desired. Frequent travel, including overnight travel, is required.
