TERRITORY MANAGER – COMMERCIAL LINES INSURANCE
Merchants Insurance Group is seeking an energetic and results driven Territory Manager (TM) for the Central New York and Capital District area. This position will work from home and report to our Corporate Headquarters, located in Buffalo, NY. The TM will manage the growth and profitability metrics for the assigned territory, adding value to our agency partners by developing and executing individual agency business plans that support our mutual goals.
The ideal candidate will have minimum of 5 years of commercial lines insurance experience. Comprehensive knowledge of Commercial Lines products and coverage is required. Prior Commercial Lines Sales/Marketing experience and/or experience as a Commercial Lines Underwriter is a plus. Professional, disciplined, sales driven individual with solid organizational and planning skills. Highly proficient with automation, and the skillset to train others. Exceptional customer service and communication skills, and have the ability to travel regularly is required.
