Job Description

The E&S Senior Associate provides day-to-day consultation and support to agency owners and customers who participate in Ivantages expanded market programs and assists with projects to drive continuous process improvements of the E&S Team. The role is responsible for strict adherence to multiple state compliance regulations. The role demonstrates the ability to understand surplus lines regulatory and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Program Consulting & Service

  • Transact surplus lines regulatory filings with strict adherence to multiple state regulations
  • Maintain current understanding of E&S products, services, and processes both within and outside the department
  • Performs policy service functions which include the processing of new business, endorsements, cancellations, and renewal services.
  • Provides exceptional service to agency owners and policyholders related to Expanded Market E&S programs
  • Meets daily performance standards and adherence to E&S compliance regulations
  • Resolves issues of basic to moderate complexity using judgment, decision making, creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Participates in calling campaigns to increase agent awareness regarding Ivantage programs
  • Learns new programs quickly

Compliance Support

  • Uses prudent judgment in every day interactions to uphold Ivantage Anti-trust requirements (not sharing competitor information with Allstate), licensing requirements (decipher if a licensed professional is required to handle an inquiry), and producer licensing and enrollment requirements.

Job Qualifications

  • College Degree and/or prior surplus lines experience preferred
  • Minimum of one-year experience in customer service related field required
  • Prior experience in insurance, agency or brokerage experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Problem solving aptitude for handling issues real-time
  • Basic project management ability
  • Thrives in changes with an adaptable/nimble work style

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
