Claims Associate - Commercial

Commercial Claims Associate – Large Insurance Broker / Consultancy – Base Salary $70k, Bonus, Exceptional Benefits

Our client, a large and extremely stable independent insurance agency, has an immediate need for a highly skilled Commercial Claims Associate for this New Jersey based branch location.  This particular office has over 60 employees and over $25 million in premium.

In this role, the Commercial Insurance professional will be a part of their client servicing division.  They will work on middle market and large commercial accounts, regarding the evaluation and investigation of current and pending claims.

They will submit claims to the carriers, they will work directly with customers and other involved parties in regards to the status and investigation of claims, they will evaluate claims status as well as files for settlement to better assist the client relationship.  In addition, they will answer incoming phone calls, maintain account files, enter data into the system, and assist account managers and producers in reviewing the claims documentation.

Compensation in this position includes a base salary in the $70k range, plus a bonus program.  The benefits are excellent including comprehensive healthcare, 401k with a company match, stock options, generous paid time off and more.

Requirements 

• At least 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong technical understanding of coverage in commercial lines. 
• Candidate should have an active P&C license and be proficient in MS Office products.
