Ontario Insurance, rated A (excellent) by AM Best is currently looking for an individual to fill the position of Marketing Underwriter.
In this position you would responsible for:
- Risk selection and determining pricing and coverage for both Personal and Commercial Lines of business.
- Maintaining contact with our Agency force and their staff.
- Obtaining information regarding the marketability of our lines of business and rates.
- Submission of quotes to our Home Office staff for processing.
- Develop relationships with prospective agents for potential appointment.
Position Requirements –
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of prior experience in an equivalent position.
- Continuing education in insurance
- Math aptitude, logic and problem-solving skills
- Continuing education in the insurance field
- Ability to work remotely and travel extensively.
- Limited overnight travel.
