The VP, Client Partnership is responsible for leading all relevant activity in support of developing relationships across our clients organization. He/She will be deploying a relationship engagement strategy including the management of executive level relationships. The job is also responsible for identifying and providing solutions for new and existing opportunities with our customers business.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the management of all aspects of existing client relationships with the intent of maintaining and expanding the relationships in a manner beneficial to Assurant
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients needs and business drivers in order to create profitable business solutions.
  • Communicates with client to gain their input and support on the business objectives. Fosters true partner relationships that allow us to manage change and growth within the individual business arrangements.
  • Identify key strategic client related initiatives to further the objectives and strategies of both client and Assurant.
  • Analyze existing product portfolio, identify gaps/opportunities and make recommendations as to how to close these gaps to support the client in the mobile industry
  • Manage client level profitability, product and service needs
  • Integrate product and services business issues with ongoing client relationship management needs and problem resolution
  • Work with the team to analyze and price new product and service requests made by client along with ideas generated both internally and externally
  • Partner with client management and product development teams in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities for identified portfolio products
  • Manage the onboarding and management of opportunity pipeline and supporting negotiation efforts with client
  • Demonstrate full and complete understanding of product design, functionality, capabilities and services including achievable timelines and pricing options while representing products and services both internally and externally as a subject matter expert
  • Expand opportunities by sourcing new business ideas through interaction with channel, clients, competitive analysis, industry trends and/or primary research
  • Develop and present business plans and justification for new business solutions to pursue directly and/or jointly with management
  • Assist the client team by helping create on/offline marketing materials, presentations, training materials, event collateral and other supporting materials, as well as attending client presentations as subject matter expert when needed
  • Oversee reputation management functions leveraging product development partnerships, internal research team, surveys and social media
  • Has client P&L responsibilities and responsibilities for revenue generation

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 10 years of strategic partnership responsibility in the mobile industry including a proven track record of developing and maintaining key client relationships
  • 10 years of progressively more responsible experience in business leadership roles including P&L and revenue responsibilities as well as expertise with clients and/or prospects
  • Must have proven successful negotiation skills
  • Travel 50%
