Summary:
A Personal Insurance Claims Representative, will be responsible for, advising clients throughout the claims process, reporting of loss, and positively advocating on behalf of the client.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Recognize each client’s needs and respond to those needs with suggestions and recommendations regarding their insurance and their loss.
- Report and set up losses immediately. Assist and advise clients of what to expect next.
- Review coverages with client and explain if under-insured.
- Advise Company of possible fraud cases.
- Understand carrier’s procedures and requirements and be familiar with their website.
- Document all conversations with clients and companies.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the agency’s management system.
- Maintain current knowledge of new products and coverage available to our clients.
- Inform and collaborate with Account Managers for potential account enhancements.
- Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by management.

Education and Experience Requirements
- High School diploma.
- Previous insurance education.
- Producer License required.
