M&T Insurance Agency, Inc., is the wholly owned property and casualty insurance subsidiary of M&T Bank. M&T Insurance Agency is licensed in nearly all fifty states and represents clients at the local, regional, national and international levels.

M&T Insurance Agency is headquartered in Buffalo, NY, where the company was founded in 1955. The agency maintains six offices throughout the Northeastern United States and the Mid-Atlantic.  

Function: Responsible for supporting Account Management and Sales staff by providing daily servicing needs of Agency clientele  

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Auto ID cards, Certificates of Insurance and other daily service needs as assigned
• Maintain and document client files in agency management system to support Agency document management and quality control procedures
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction
• Adhere to applicable Agency procedures, workflows and servicing timelines

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience with direct client contact
• In lieu of a degree, combined minimum of 3 years of higher education and/or work experience with at least 1 year of relevant direct client contact

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain State Brokers License
• Property & Casualty industry experience
