Director of Professional Liability Field Sales
Crystalizing high-level strategy into day-to-day, tactical objectives.
Your top priority as Director of Field Sales is to build, lead and engage team members to deliver consistent results. We’re looking for a change agent; someone who can critically look at the status quo and make important adjustments that drive new business sales and territory growth. If you’re not only willing to be the leader in charge but also still get into the weeds with broker relationships, accounts and so forth, then this is the culture and role for you.
**You can live and work in any region where the company currently does business. Specifically, this includes Arizona, New Mexico and states in the Midwest, Mountain West and Pacific Northwest.
Sales Leadership- Manage the direction of the business development team (3-5 reps). They are on the front lines promoting insurance products and services to a very specific clientele- healthcare organizations (physicians, hospitals and health systems.
Set processes, production expectations, accountability, sales incentives, compensation plans, communication expectations and pipeline management.
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team to create and refresh branding content.
National Account Management- Build relationships with key brokers. Identify growth opportunities and key alliances. Make the company their preferred insurer. Integrate what the Innovation Team offers for ancillary products and services into sales presentations, negotiations and retention strategies.
Experience requirements: At least five (5) years of commercial insurance industry experience in sales management/sales leadership. Demonstrated success developing a metric-driven sales organization. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
