This position requires a FL 220 Insurance License. Shown excellence in performance and extensive expertise proven confidence as a team leader in a Level2 AM Role. This position assists the Producer in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. SRAM is responsible for day-to-day account management for clients with complex coverage needs including coverage/policy questions while providing high customer service satisfaction.  SRAM will possess a wide range of commercial lines account management skills, including but not limited to; customer service, administration, marketing & sales. SRAM position entails a great deal of communication while interacting with clients, RTIA production team, RTIA service team and insurance company representatives. Ability to delegate, but needs to be proficient in all tasks. SRAM’s are team leaders, mentors and trainers. SRAM’s are expected to take the initiate to develop training materials & processes which will improve and grow the overall RTIA service team.

  • New & Renewal Business Marketing/Placement/Binding: Applications, Spreadsheets, Loss Run Summary, Quoting, Binding, Policy Set-up, Net Rate Comparisons, Proposals, Billing, Payroll Template, Finance Agreements, signatures, etc.
  • Set-up Policy Lines/Commissions/PR/BR screens accurately
  • Check Submission Inbox
  • Renewal Business over $50K 120 days prior to renewal review exposures & risk to make sure adequate coverages are in placeIf need to Remarket Submitting/Entering to Various Carriers: Applications, Spreadsheets, Quoting, Binding, Policy Set-up, Billing
  • Non Renewals/Possible Remarket
  • Process/Renew/Generate Invoices on ALL Agency Bill policies – Billing Clients within 45 days of expiration & follow up on outstanding monies
  • Billing & Audit Issues - Follow up on outstanding monies/audits
  • Review Audits +/- $5K along with Audit questions from Auditor/Client/Carrier/IPRO: Dispute, preparation or Billing for Underwriting Program policies if needed (i.e. ProSight)
  • Process Endorsements: Premium Bearing (Usually on Non WC policies-EPLI, Cyber, PCKG, etc.)
  • Certificates: Review all contracts for special wording; get approval from carrier/ client if needed, document. Process or give detailed direction to AAM to process.
  • Claim reporting, Review Loss History, Loss Control & Follow-up
  • Maintain Expiration list on Book of Business Producers  &  Client Calendar Timeline
  • Assist in Onboarding Call(AE is to schedule & take lead) & update Onboarding Guide for New & Renewal
  • Maintain favorable relationship with Clients, Producers, Underwriters and Team
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and ratings and professional license as required by law
  • Maintain a concern for accuracy, timeliness, completeness and documentation when interacting with customers, agency, and company personnel to minimize potential for errors & omissions claims. Including phone calls, EPIC activities, daily scanned mail, emails, etc. Advise AE/Producer if it requires their attention.
  • Special Projects Requested either by Producer or Client with training/support from SRAM
  • Reports Directly to Director of Account Management

 

  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must be an assertive self-starter with the ability to influence others. Should have demonstrated effective presentation skills through both verbal and written communications. Must be willing to travel as required. Need strong technical knowledge and math skills.

 

  • OTHER REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalent and 4-6 years of experience.  Must have FL 220 Insurance License as required by the State Department of Insurance to discuss and/or sell insurance in states where the agency functions. Ability to use personal computer, calculator, agency automation system, and proficiency in various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
