Job Overview
Account Manager - Phoenix, AZ
Brown & Brown Insurance of Arizona, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our Benefits Department. This individual will have the exciting opportunity to build, expand and solidify relationships with new and existing clients. We will rely on you to lead appropriate resources to address the client’s needs, including risk identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues, accounting issues, claims issues, etc. The Account Manager will further be responsible for providing enrollment services with various carriers as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for client
- maintain relationships with carriers
- strategize with producers and marketing team to coordinate renewal approach
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Competencies:
- Must hold an Arizona Life / Health Insurance License
- 3+ years' insurance experience
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational / time-management skills
- Strong computer skills
- Courteous demeanor and professional appearance
- Team player with a positive attitude
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Products – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Applied Epic experience is a plus
