The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will provide strategic oversight to the sales and Commercial Lines Marketing function in support of the company's strategy and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead the Sales and Marketing plans to deliver New Business and renewal revenue targets
  • Create a culture of integrity and success in goal achievement
  • Vice President of Sales and Marketing will manage sales activities and success for producers in all lines of business to achieve new business and renewal goals, by producer, division, and Agency
  • Work with each producer to establish and monitor an annual business plan to achieve their goals
  • Vice President of Sales and Marketing will vonduct monthly sales meetings
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with each producer or more if necessary to achieve goal
  • Vice President of Sales and Marketing will work with each producer to ensure understanding of and adherence to Sales & Marketing procedures
  • Educate producers on additional sales techniques
  • Utilize risk management resources and techniques to enhance producer knowledge of risk quality and products understanding
  • Vice President of Sales and Marketing will work closely with Commercial Lines and Personal Lines service teams to ensure a synergy between sales and service
  • Liaison to insurance carrier partners to understand and communicate to the sales team all steps necessary for a successful business relationship
  • Vice President of Sales and Marketing will identify new ideas to address sales and Agency goals
  • Exhibit behaviors that support the Agency core values within the Sales & Marketing functions
  • Recruit, hire and educate new producers to the Agency
  • Vice President of Sales and Marketing will analyze information on new and existing clients and identify growth potential and react to market and customer needs

Education and Experience

  • Proven results in sales in insurance
  • Proven results in sales management achieving revenue goals and profitability
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales leadership
  • Experience and expertise in the Property/Casualty industry strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence others
  • Proven track record of effectively working within a team environment
  • College degree
  • Insurance industry designations preferred
  • Successful experience in hiring and onboarding producers
