Account Manager / CSR - Commercial Insurance

Position Overview

Bozeman Insurance has an immediate need in our St. Petersburg office for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Specialist. We are looking for a professional, high energy team player who can provide outstanding service to our clients.

The position requires you to handle multi-lines Property and Casualty business. A qualified candidate will have experience in processing of new and renewal policies, endorsements, as well rating of new and renewal business.  Must have excellent customer service skills in order to answer billing, policy and coverage related questions. This individual must be able to multi- task while paying attention to details and pride in their work product. It is important that continuously document conversations, emails and correspondence with customers and underwriters in the agency management system. It is preferred if you have experience with AMS 360, but not required.

Position Requirements:               

• 4-40 License required with COMMERCIAL LINES experience
• Career minded individual with stable past employment history
• Sales ability required, must be able to round accounts, sell new business prospects
• Ability to work in an insurance agency management system AMS360 a plus and have computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
• Comfortable communicating in a courteous manner with clients and public in person and over the phone
• Capable of writing simple correspondence using proper grammar and spelling
• Have good listening skills
• Self-motivated and organized
• You must have a professional appearance and demeanor 
• Ability to consistently be organized and prioritize workload
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Florida Insurance market including product offerings, carrier availability and industry guidelines
• Excellent customer service skills

Multiple compensation packages available depending on qualifications, salary plus bonus/commission, will be based on license type, experience and insurance knowledge.
