Account Manager - Commercial Lines

We are a growing insurance agency looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager. A qualified candidate will be motivated, fast-paced, experienced and a team-player. Responsibilities of the Account Manager include but are not limited to:
--Direct involvement with the Submission Marketing and account management for existing and potential clients.
--Coordinate all aspects of the renewal marketing process with clients and provide program structure reviews and analysis.
--Prepare account specifications,strong market place knowledge in order to identify carriers to market to, negotiate pricing and finalize policy binding and conditions
--Prepare coverage and pricing comparisons for expiring vs. renewal terms when applicable --Prepare thorough, detailed proposals for presentation
--Provide technical competence in computer programs including Excel and AMS360.
--Clarify and explain coverage forms to clients on the phone and in-person when required.
--Identify potential coverage gaps and make coverage recommendations
--Cross sell of accounts for additional lines of coverage
--Ability to train staff and answer insurance related questions
--3 to 5 years of experience working in a brokerage or agency
--Basic indemnity coverage knowledge, including various products for Commercial Lines insurance
--Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines for multiple carriers
--Previous working experience with computers is required; must be proficient in Outlook, MS Office, including Word and Excel and AMS 360.
--Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with individuals at all levels, both in and outside the agency
--Good interpersonal communication, customer service and time management skills are essential
--Commercial Insurance Experience: 5+ years
