  • Support  Senior AE’s/Producers and other Agency client support team in meeting the client’s needs including but not limited to: market new and renewal business, arrange renewal meetings, negotiate benefit rates with carriers and prepare spreadsheets;
  • Maintain consistent and continuous communication with assigned clients primarily through the use of the Firm’s secured and controlled Communication Systems;
  • Manage mid-market book of business by directing employees on service team;
  • Work requires regular, daily and weekly, face-to-face/in-person interactions with co-workers, clients, vendors and insurance representatives for both scheduled and unscheduled meetings, discussions and work-related functions; 
  • Provide needed information and pro-active suggestions, and resolve issues for clients;
  • Coordinate and attend employee meetings as necessary for new business, carrier changes and plan changes;
  • Complete client servicing tasks related to new business set up, renewal processing and account marketing;
  • Develop and grow assigned accounts through relationship building, exceptional service, and identification of areas for improvement, as well as, receives and develops new business leads, identifies and develops cross-sell opportunities;
  • Submit all pertinent and required information to carrier and work with the carrier to retrieve information for case submission;
  • Manages all client required services and maintains client relationship with minimal input from Producers;
  • Acts as direct point of contact for client from time of lead;
  • Lead representative on an assigned book of business;
  • Participates in team selling process including finalist interviews and RFP responses;
  • Prepares and presents to client renewal analysis;
  • Sells renewal business to existing clients and where applicable, sells additional lines of coverage;
  • Promotes to clients other services offered by agency by ways of preparing Producer Service Proposals;

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Flexibility and creativity for developing innovative and customized business solutions;
  • Exceptional relationship development skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to lead and direct others, including coaching and performance management;
  • Proven Track record for developing strong relationships with clients and carriers
  • Ability to travel to client locations;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to access data from company secured and monitored systems.
  • BA or High School Degree or Equivalent
  • 10+ Years of Insurance Related Experience
  • Life Accident and Health Agent License Required
