The Senior Sales & Marketing Representative will be responsible for the achievement of profitable growth and new business production goals within an assigned territory of agents and brokers, in accordance with the company’s Mission, Vision and Core Values.

Pay Range

  • $75k - $115k

Essential Functions

  • Develops and maintains a territory capable of producing profitable premium volume sufficient to territory assigned goals, through the use of agency analysis, evaluation and initiation of action plans.
  • Lead and influence agents and brokers through implementation of sales processes and practices that drive new sales and increase shelf space.
  • Partner with underwriting to identify  and capitalize upon production opportunities and improving results within the assigned territory.
  • Continually monitors and reports competitor activities along with suggestions to improve company's product and enhance the company's competitive position in the marketplace.
  • Coordinate and participate in agency reviews providing analysis and assessment of sales results for assigned territory.
  • Coordinate and participate in events such as product fairs, trade shows, association and/or agency events, including website and social media coordination.

Managerial/Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no managerial/supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position.  Though some flexibility in hours may be allowed, the employee must be available during the company’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm and for additional time outside of regular business hours, to support the company’s business needs. 


A minimum of 60% travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate studies in insurance, business, marketing or other related fields.
  • 3 years’ experience in insurance or 5+ years’ in outside marketing.
