About the Commercial Insurance Sales Role
A production opportunity with an independent, full service agency, you will lead the commercial sales activity in Buffalo which has huge cross selling potential. One of the most successful branches in the company, the Buffalo group generates most of its revenue through employee benefits sales. They need a hunter with property and casualty business account experience to step and partner with the benefits producers and third party referral sources to diversify the portfolio.
Successful producers have joined this agency with a couple different types of backgrounds:
- Direct writer or captive insurance agency sales experience. Able to develop small commercial, BOP business that’s generalist in nature. Interested in a move to the independent agency world.
- Independent agency sales experience (approximately 2-5 years of experience). Strong skills in prospecting and originating new business. Lack competitive market access or strong service resources.
This position offers a competitive base salary and a new business commission validation plan. You’ll receive ongoing sales training and mentorship from the Vice President, Commercial Sales Leader.
