Account Representative – Property & Casualty Underwriting

Tucson, AZ

CapSpecialty’s subsidiary, Arizona Central Insurance specializing in property & casualty kiosk insurance, is seeking a dynamic, versatile, customer-focused Account Representative for their Tucson Office. This position will contribute to the team effort of profitable success for the Kiosk Department through a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Increased Sales:  prospect leads and generate cold calls.
  • New Business:  underwrite, issue and generate quotes for new policies.
  • Customer Service:   provide excellent customer service by servicing existing policies and renewing expiring policies, addressing complaints and resolving issues.
  • Marketing:  market and research new venues, events and ideas through social media and other avenues.  Develop, write and contribute information to agent newsletter.
  • Reception:  Greet and assist office visitors.  Contribute to keeping office space safe, welcoming, clean and organized. 
  • Administration:  Data entry and processing of account and agent information using related databases, scanning and saving documents as needed.
  • Claims:  Create files for new claims, filing and maintaining information as needed.

The ideal candidate will be a self-directed, team player and possess many of the following characteristics:

  • Associate’s degree, or equivalent;
  • 2-3 years’ experience in corporate, customer service setting; experience in commercial property & casualty insurance industry experience preferred;
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a high-pace work environment and independently deliver expected results;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Great customer service skills with a professional and pleasant phone voice;
  • Demonstration of a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills;
  • Intermediate knowledge of computers and applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with the ability to operate other office equipment.
  • Bilingual preferred.
