The VP, Global New Product Development, Connected Living is responsible for guiding all areas of new product development for Connected Living - which will contribute to top line growth. Will manage Directors focused on New Products and New Initiatives focused on innovative solutions within the Connected Living Ecosystem.

Primary Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Leads all global efforts for Connected Living in developing and delivering commercialized new products at a global level. Manages the global New Product Development budget for all of Connected Living.
  • Leads and provides all direction for experimentation & ensure they are in-line with Line of Business needs & strategic objectives
  • Provides Subject Matter Expert and Leadership to Directors who will design & develop goals for each experiment
  • Direct process in evaluation of business cases to ensure they meet parameters of our strategic framework for organic growth initiatives
  • Develop templates for business cases for experiments leading to commercialization efforts
  • Provides Thought Leadership and Direction on all products and solutions for Mobile Carriers, OEMS, retailers, Cable/Satellite; Connected Living EcoSystem
  • Managing two Directors currently, will manage
  • Manages all Budgets related to Connected Living New Product Development
  • 30% Travel

Basic Qualifications Required - Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

  • Requires 15+ years of experience in mobile/carrier industry experience in Product Life Cycle Management
  • Requires 15+ years of experience in LEADERSHIP roles for Global Product Development
  • Requires 15+ years of experience delivering product solutions to senior level roles within mobile/carrier industry
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

  • Strong financial acumen
  • Masters degree, MBA preferred
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Ability and experience in identifying goals & metrics and establishing progress against same
  • Strong analytical experience
  • Ability to meet with senior leaders and identify options
