This entry-level sales is production based in which the associate sells term life insurance to inbound leads.
The associate will need various sales attributes: ability to overcome sales objections, competitive analysis, knowledge of underwriting process, ability to learn and master SelectQuote s processes and procedures.
Participate in product training to learn policy terms and underwriting guidelines.
Participate in computer training on company systems.
Handle high volume of inbound leads and some outbound leads.
Provide follow-up calls, emails and online chat.
Participate in departmental meetings.
Build and maintain customer relationships.
Be proactive about continuing education and training.
Close new accounts by interacting with customers, primarily via telephone and email.
Make daily outbound calls and write emails to clients and prospective clients.
Provide exceptional customer service and form strong client relationships.
Ability to uncover coverage needs through specialized questioning techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
