National Sales Representative


Overview

The National Sales Representative will be supporting the continued growth of AmTrust's Specialty Risk division. The primary role of the National Sales Representative is to consult with potential clients and nurture deals from prospecting to close. The National Sales Representative will be responsible for working through a long deal cycle to win business and will have proven experience building strong relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company executives
  • Conduct webinars with stakeholders to demonstrate products
  • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the clients needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion
  • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately
  • Travel to client site as necessary to further the business relationship

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or Management
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales
  • Proven experience dealing with company executives
  • Strong documentation and organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter and follow-through oriented with a commitment to quality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
