Account Associate

This entry-level sales position is production based in which the associate sells term life insurance to inbound leads.

The associate will need various sales attributes: ability to overcome sales objections, competitive analysis, knowledge of underwriting process, ability to learn and master SelectQuote s processes and procedures.

Participate in product training to learn policy terms and underwriting guidelines Participate in computer training on company systems Handle high volume of inbound leads and some outbound leads Provide follow-up calls, emails and online chat Participate in departmental meetings Build and maintain customer relationships Be proactive about continuing education and training Close new accounts by interacting with customers, primarily via telephone and email Make daily outbound calls and write emails to clients and prospective clients Provide exceptional customer service and form strong client relationships Ability to uncover coverage needs through specialized questioning techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent listening skills Confidence Positive attitude Passion Proactivity Patience Technological proficiency Ability to multitask Ambition Follow-through Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required Previous call center experience preferred, but not required Life and health license preferred, but not required
