This job is responsible for:

  • Assessing client data and determining the extent of loan serviceability in a variety of situations
  • Working specifically with Inspections, Property Preservation, Code Violations, Relocation Assistance Program, Vacant Property Registration, and Utilities, among other daily tasks.
  • Being a liaison between Assurant Field Asset Services and our Client.

Primary Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Reports to On-Site Supervisor
  • Facilitate clear communication between AFAS and Client, acting as a Go To Person for client needs
  • Manually review of a high volume of loans every week to determine which loans AFAS should service
  • Review monthly property inspections reports and determine if preservation services are required.
  • Create work orders as needed per investor guidelines
  • Review Damage Reports and create Insurance Loss Tasks to generate insurance claim process.
  • Handle other duties as assigned by management which include, but are not limited to, assistance in reviewing Bid Approvals, FTV Reports, Access Denied Reports, and Code Violations
  • Review and analyze reports from AFAS and Client systems
  • Data entry in both AFAS systems and Client systems, as needed
  • Provide technical and client interface support to AFAS reps
  • Provide technical support, primarily for FAStrack, to Client reps
  • Prepare initial research and documentation for escalated, loan-level issues
  • Compile initial research for invoicing issues

Position will be located in the Lewisville, TX area.

Basic Qualifications Required - Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • 1 year of experience in the property preservation, mortgage servicing, banking, property management or leasing industry
  • 3 year experience working with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to type 35 wpm

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Associates degree or 2 years college preferred
  • 1 year customer service and/or client relations experience preferred
  • 1 year experience in a client operations role
  • Knowledge of LPS based technology (LSAMS, MSP, LPS Desktop, etc) is a plus
